Basic Dinner Rolls/Sticky & Cinnamon

Grandma Baker's Rolls

1 1/2 Tbsp yeast
3 cups hot water
1 cup dry milk
2 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1/3 cup sugar
2 tsp salt
7 cups flour (give or take a little)

Mix first 7 ingredients plus 3 cups of flour.  Then add 1 cup of flour at a time, leaving at least 1 cup of flour for kneading.  Put in a greased bouwl and let rise until double (about 1 1/2 hours).  Punch down and shape into rolls.  Let rise antil almost doulbe.  Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes.

STICKY ROLLS
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup water
3 Tbsp karo
3 Tbsp butter

Heat until melted in a 9 x 13 pan.  Add Walnuts if desired.  Place the rolls in the pan and let rise again.  Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes.

Use basic dinner roll recipe.  roll out to form a flat rectangle shape.  Spread melted butter on dough then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top.  roll up dough to form a log.  Cut the dough using a string or wirer to form your roll.  You decide the thickness.  Put the string or wirer under the dough and pull up around the dough, crossing the string or wirer at the top of the dough, pull the string or wirer as if you were tying your shoe.  this should cut the dough easily for you.


CINNAMON ROLLS
3 Tbsp milk (cream)
1 1/2 powdered sugar
1 Tbsp butter
raisins (optional)

Mix and put on top of cooled rolls.
