« on: March 13, 2009, 11:44:48 AM »

On March 4, 2009, Gerald Russell St. George, G, left this world for a better place. G was a wonderful person who gave his family & friends all the love and kindness we could ask for and much more.

Gerald was born in Butte, on Sept. 3, 1957. G loved to spend time with his family just hanging out playing cards, going for drives, or spending time at the Homestead. He married the love of his life, Mary Lewis, in Las Vegas, May 29, 2000, and together they made their home in Wolf Point. They moved home to Helena in December 2007 to be closer to his family. While in Wolf Point he was very active with his church, the chamber of commerce and enjoyed the Wild Horse Stampede and parade.

Gerald was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father, Phillip St. George; uncles, Kenny Petersen, Duane Petersen and Hank Neidhardt; and mother-in-love, Karen Waldorff.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; mother, Karen St. George; a son; brothers and sisters-in-love, Phillip and Debbie, Greg and Tonya, Bruce, Vaughn and Kevin and Michele; nieces and nephews, Nikki and Josh Jerome, Kassandra and Kyle St. George and Jay St. George; grand-nephew, Nolan Jerome; and many much loved aunts, uncles and cousins; along with special pets, Scooter, Cassidy, Dolly Madison and Jack.

A celebration of his life will be held in the spring at the Homestead. Retz funeral home is assisting
